You can't keep a good vampire down. Come to think of it, you can't exactly keep a bad vampire down, either. Jasper Hale Jackson Rathbone was taken to a Vancouver-area hospital yesterday after suffering a slight and unidentified injury while rehearsing a fight scene for the dark and battle-heavy Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
A spokesperson for Summit confirmed the not-quite near-death incident.
"As a precaution, he was driven to the hospital and checked out by a doctor. He's fine and is back at work on the set of Eclipse today."
And possibly a little paler than usual—which really is more of a character enhancement than anything.
Still, while Rathbone may not be immortal, his health hiccup won't be slowing him down anytime soon, at least according to fellow onscreen vamp Ashley Greene.
"Just got off set," she tweeted yesterday. "Jackson seems like he's ok thank God…can't believe he came to work today! He's a trooper :)"
