Katherine Putnam’s title changed from Miss Shreveport to Miss Louisiana 2009 as she took the crown Saturday Night live in the W.L. Jack Howard Theatre! Putnam, age 22, attends the University of Louisiana at Monroe. When asked what her most valuable life lesson has been, she states, “Success for me is not the destination, but finding joy in the journey!” Hope Anderson (Miss University of Louisiana Monroe) was first runner up tonight. Anderson is 20 years old and attends ULM.
