“One reason why we were interested in getting Baba Ramdeo on board is because we got Sherlyn. So we wanted to create a Vishwamitra-Menaka kind of situation between the saint and the seductress in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house. Unfortunately Baba opted out,” said a source in the channel.
Last time when Jade Goody went back home after she was diagnosed with cancer, speculations were rife that Sherlyn will take her place. But it didn’t happen.

•Michael Lohan says prescription pills are to blame for Lindsay's pasty-ridden fashion show, and he's worried. Of course, that means he's telling the media all about his concern. As he puts it: "The girl with all the talent is hidden and buried deep inside this fungus that's grown because of the prescription drugs."
Madonna Snl, The first TV encounter of Madonna and Lady Gaga came during “Saturday Night Live” this week, when the Material Girl appeared unannounced in a Deep House Dish skit alongside the contemporary hitmaker when a similar bizarre visual bent.
A few bars into a song and dance number, Madonna grabbed Lady Gaga’s blonde hair and here was one of those cliched hair-pulling catfights in skimpy outfits. “What the hell is a disco stick?” she demanded.
The dance number didn’t seem to go as planned. Lady Gaga sang while Madonna didn’t. It didn’t matter — seeing them together was the big thing.
Invited to sit on the couch, they continued their fake fighting.
“Guess what Madonna I’m totally hotter than you!” Lady Gaga said.
“Guess what I’m totally taller than you,” she replied adding: “What kind of name is Lady Gaga. It sounds like baby food…”
“The kind that’s No. 1 on the Billboard charts,” Gaga replied lunging on her.
Kenan Thompson’s character DJ Dynasty Handbag wanted them to make up. And because some dude wrote it, he asked them to kiss. Madonna’s kiss to other female pop stars has been some kind of annointment in the past, as when she laid on on Britney Spears at a past MTV video music awards. But Kenan’s character interjected himself between them to receive their kisses.
The sketch came just before the first of Gaga’s performance of “Paparazzi,” not nearly as elaborate as it was at the VMAs last month. However, later in the show, for “Disco Stick” and a performance of “Poker Face,” she wore what looked to be a giant gyroscope.
Madonna was the biggest of several guest stars on the show, though Scarlett Johansson, who also appeared unnanounced was pretty big. Elijah Wood also popped in on the show. All this on an episode hosted by one of the least known stars, Ryan Reynolds.
Darrell Hammond, apparently freelancing on the show after the longest run as a cast member made his first “Saturday Night Live” appearance as Arnold Schwarzenegger, behind so much prosthetic makeup he was hardly recognizable.
The Letterman situation was mentioned in “Weekend Update” as a “Stupid human trick.” But a whole retro “Celebrity Family Fued” skit was built around the John Phillips revelation.

Erin Andrews' No. 1 fan was given a get-out-of-jail card today, but he's far from free.
Michael David Barrett, the Illinois insurance peddler accused of stalking the ESPN reporter and secretly videotaping her in the nude in her hotel room, was allowed to post $4,500 bond following a hearing in Chicago.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Arlander Keys ordered the 47-year-old Barrett confined to his home. He must wear an electronic ankle monitor and adhere to a daily curfew of 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. He is allowed to leave to run errands and go to work. But, mercifully, he must unplug his Internet connection.
The prohibitions will remain in effect until an Oct. 23 hearing in Los Angeles, where the charges were originally filed.
Based on what the feds are claiming, Barrett engaged in some downright creepy behavior. Here's the play-by-play, based on an FBI affidavit...
Barrett allegedly shadowed Andrews across the country in a "methodical" manner; he was able to get a hotel room adjacent to hers on two different occasions; and he then used a tiny camera to shoot her in various states of undress before trying to sell the tape online.
"This was not just a whimsical act," Assistant U.S. Attorney Steve Grimes said about the surreptitious recordings. "This was an obsession, one that was acted out...one he carried out through various states."
And not just toward Andrews. The prosecutor said investigators executing a search warrant of Barrett's home and computer found footage of other women.
Barrett made at least seven videos of Andrews. The alleged Peeping Tom was caught only after he emailed TMZ last January attempting to sell his footage, and an employee there tipped off Andrews' attorney, who in turn notified police.
Jessica Simpson may be single, but she's not searching for Mr. Right this time.
Instead, she's letting him find her.
"I think that in the right time, somebody will find me," she told E! News Friday at Operation Smile's gala, where her entire family was being honored. "I'm not seeking it out right now. I'm waiting...but not miserably!"
Sounds like she's in a good place since her birthday breakup with Tony Romo.
Of course, in typical Jessica fashion, she gave a little TMI during her speech onstage...
"Gosh, I'm so emotional," she told the crowd. "It's not that time of the month, either!"
On Saturday, Jess jetted to Sin City to join the party for her sister Ashlee's 25th birthday.
The entire entourage, including parents Joe and Tina and Ash's hubby, Pete Wentz, were there for the poolside party at Wet Republic.
And it seems Jess isn't quite ready to bare her bikini body again. Although she had on a black two-piece swimsuit, she kept a sheer cover-up on throughout the bash.
Next, Jess is off to Morocco to film more footage for her VH1 show, The Price of Beauty.
