Now, it’s being said that Shahid Kapoor is not the soulmate of Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, though the actress has been linked with him several times. Before this, she has been linked with Hurman S. Baweja and Hollywood star Gerard Butler.

“I don’t mind getting married to an Indian girl. Too bad Priyanka already has a boyfriend”, a leading daily quoted Butler. The actress met Butler at the launch of the Atlantis hotel in Dubai last year.

Butler is in Jaipur nowadays, at the same time stories of his friendship with Priyanka Chopra is in the air.

According to the reports, Butler came to Jaipur and knew that Priyanka was shooting and staying at Shiv Vilas for her film ‘What’s Your Rashee?’ Following this, he came to the sets to meet the actress.

HOLLYWOOD: Singer Mariah Carey is struggling to get to sleep at night.

And in order to pass her time, the stunner has taken to watching her husband Nick Cannon doze peacefully while she is wide awake, reports The ‘China Daily’.

She wrote on her Twitter page: “I just finished working out. Whooo! Quite naturally, ”its 5am and I still can’t sleep”(sung like ”crybaby” from ”Rainbow” 99)lol Who’s up?

“Nick is too cute when he’s sleep! I wish he didn’t have to work tomorrow so he could help me sleep all day and I could sing all nite (sic)!”

Mariah is not the only celebrity to have sleepless nights. Robbie Williams often finds it difficult to drop off.

A source said: “Rob has a problem sleeping and it’s very hard for him to know what to do after he has performed.”

Earlier, beauty Salma Hayek had also revealed that after having daughter Valentina Paloma, she didn’t sleep for six months.

She said: “I don’t even remember what my life was like before. I can tell you that I don’t sleep. This is a cliche but it’s true. I haven’t slept in the last six months.

“The blessing of having a healthy child, I think is the best thing that can happen to anyone.

Mel Gibson wife filed for divorce

Mel Gibson’s wife of nearly 30 years filed for divorce from the Oscar-winning actor and director Monday, according to court records.

Robyn Gibson cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split from her 53-year-old husband, the Academy Award-winning maker of “Braveheart” and star of the “Lethal Weapon” films.

“Throughout our marriage and separation we have always strived to maintain the privacy and integrity of our family and will continue to do so,” People magazine quoted the couple as saying in a statement on Monday.

The couple have had seven children together since their marriage in 1980. The two met in Australia when Gibson was an unknown actor and his future wife was working as a dental assistant.

Any divorce settlement could be one of the most expensive in Hollywood history, with Gibson’s fortune estimated at around 900 million dollars, according to celebrity website TMZ.com.

Under California law, community property and earnings are divided 50/50 in divorce cases where there is no pre-nuptial agreement.

Gibson’s marriage has been under strain ever since the actor was arrested for driving under the influence in 2006 and his anti-semitic remarks made to police officers during his arrest.

In a formal response to his wife’s divorce petition filed on Monday, Gibson said the couple had been separated since August 26, 2006 — less than a month after his infamous drink-driving arrest in Malibu.

Since 2006 Gibson has kept a low profile, appearing in a handful of cameo roles in television and films. His last film as a director was the 2006 Mayan period epic “Apocalypto.”

His last major role as an actor was in 2002 film “Signs” but he is due to return later this year in “Edge of Darkness,” a political thriller based on the British 1980s television series of the same name.

MUMBAI: Ekta Choudhary “Dreams do come true,” gushed the 22-year-old Delhi girl Ekta Choudhary after winning the Miss India Universe crown. Now, she’s set her sight on the Miss Universe crown.

Way back in 1994 when Sushmita Sen was crowned the Miss Universe, Ekta, a young girl then, got her first spark of inspiration.

“That was the first time when I realized that I too want to be there in this profession,” Ekta tells a news agency, adding that she approached the beauty pageant in a planned way. To get familiar with the industry she has been modeling for the last two years and today when she’s won the coveted tiara all the planning seems to have paid off.

Having reached the goal she had set for self, Ekta is now aiming higher.

“Now I want to win the Miss Universe title as I have raised a lot of expectations both for my family and my country. I just want to make everyone happy by bringing the crown back home. So preparations for that will start very soon,” Ekta is quoted as saying by a news agency.

Speaking about her win at PFMI, Ekta said though she was “very very excited” before the pageant, she recited Gayatri mantra to stay calm and never lost the belief in herself.

“I always believed in myself. I feel that my honesty played a pivotal role in my victory because I always speak my mind and what I believe in,” Choudhary told the agency.Admitting that her life has changed overnight after she won the pageant, the Delhi girl said her priority now is to clinch the Miss Universe crown.

Tennis star Andy Roddick set to marry model girlfriend

Tennis star Andy Roddick is set to marry his model girlfriend Brooklyn Decker this weekend, it has emerged.

According to friends, the couple will tie the knot in Austin, Texas.

“Brooklyn and her bridesmaids had a big bachelorette weekend in Chapel Hill, NC, this weekend,” New York Post quoted a pal as saying.

“They just bounced around and had a great time,” the pal added.

Roddick met Decker in 2007 when he had his agent contact hers after he saw her in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
