Hrithik and Sussanne Roshan Move out of Khan Home

Hrithik and Sussanne Roshan have now shifted out of Sanjay Khan’s house into JW Marriott

Last week, Sussanne Roshan had shifted to her father Sanjay Khan’s house Sanjay Plaza (Near Juhu Post Office ) when Hrithik was away in Cape Town to shoot for a commercial , sparking rumours that there were problems in their marital life because of Hrithik’s growing fondness for the Latin actress Barbara Mori.
Earlier, Hrithik and Sussanne had decided to move into JW Marriott around November-end because their residence at Palazzio , Juhu had to be renovated.

However, the 26/11 terror attack in Mumbai forced the couple to abort their plans since the fivestar hotels in Mumbai were put on high-alert .
In an interview to this paper three days ago, Sussanne had admitted , We have a termite problem on our floor (10th Floor in Palazzio). We had been planning to do some renovations since a long time. Initially, we had planned to shift to the JW Marriott until the work was over. But after 26/11, we temporarily put on hold the idea of shifting.
The latest on the couple is that they have shifted from Sanjay Plaza to Hotel JW Marriott. The couple will be staying in the hotel for a month.
A source said, All looks well in the Roshan parivaar. Staying in JW Marriott, Hrithik and Sussanne look very happy together.

Sussanne confirmed and said, Yes, Hrithik and I have checked into JW Marriott. The renovation work in our house is going to take a month to complete.

Shoaib Akhtar on ICC’s Anti-doping Policy Radar

Lahore: Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar has once again come under the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) anti-doping scanner ahead of the forthcoming one-day international series against Australia in the UAE.

Sources said Akhtar’s mysterious and sudden increase in fitness levels just weeks after suffering a major knee injury could attract the ICC’s attention.

The ICC has made an International Registered Testing Pool (IRTP) which includes top players from the eight leading ODI teams in the world.

The Daily Times reported that a team of ICC experts had already briefed Pakistani players, staff and other officials about the new ICC Anti-Doping Code (2009).

Akhtar, 33, has a history of doping scandals against his name. He tested positive for a banned substance- nandrolone during the Champions Trophy in India in 2006 following which he was handed out a two-year suspension the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

In September 2007, Shoaib was banned by the PCB for an indefinite period for an alleged brawl with team-mate Mohammad Asif.

India Beat Pakistan 2-1, Enter Azlan Shah Hockey Final

Skipper Sandeep Singh continued his goal-scoring spree as India pipped Pakistan 2-1 to reach the final of the five-nation Azlan Shah hockey tournament on Saturday.

The in-form Sandeep, leading goal scorer for his side in the tournament, struck twice in the 28th and 60th minutes to seal the win in the do-or-die tie at the Azlan Shah Stadium.

For Pakistan, Mohamed Saqlain reduced the margin in the 50th minute.

With this win, India sealed their place in Sunday’s final with eight points in their kitty.

Sandeep led from the front in the crucial encounter against the traditional rivals, scoring on either side of the break and then ensuring that India does not succumb to their perennial habit of conceding late goals.

After 28 minutes of mid-field scramble by both the sides, India finally took the lead though Sandeep to go into the breather with a 1-0 lead.

Trailing by a goal, Pakistan came out all guns blazing in the second half and made repeated unsuccessful forays into the Indian penalty area before Saqlain drew parity in the 50th minute.

Stung by the reverse, India, who needed a victory to ensure their place in the final, attacked with purpose and regained lead 10 minutes later with Sandeep again founding the cage.

Although Pakistan tried hard for the equaliser in the dying stages of the match, the Indian defence stood firm and ensured that there were no last moment’s hiccups.

Aishwarya And Akshay Get Padmashree Awards

NEW DELHI: Indian President Pratibha Patil conferred the Padmashree Awards, 2009, to Bollywood actors Aishwarya Rai and Akshay kumar.

Padmashree awards are given for exceptional and distinguished service in a field.

The two good-looking actors were among the 62 personalities who received the Padma awards. Famous playback singer of yesteryear, Shamshad Begum was among other prominent persons to get the award from the Indian President at the function in Rashtrapati Bhavan.
